GERRY HAMMOND, FAIA
With forty years of expereince, Mr. Hammond has helped to shape the marketing, strategic vision and financial success of the firm that bears his name. His leadership has helped Steed Hammond Paul grow from a small 6-person office to a nationally recognized force in educational facility design. Mr. Hammond is involved in every project, in either a marketing, planning or management role and spends much of his time managing client relations. He has co-authored a book detailing Steed Hammond Paul's community involvement process and regularly speaks at national conferences on facility issues and their impact on the architecture profession.



RONALD J. HICKS, AIA
Mr. Hicks utilizes his two decades of architecture experience to faithfully preserve Steed Hammond Paul's designs throughout the construction phase and to assure the project is completed expeditiously. The construction services department has grown in size and scope of services since he became director in 1997. Since becoming director, he has built a full time staff of 11 centered around construction experience in general and electrical contracting as well as facilities management and operations. Through construction administration, construction observation, and full-time, on-site construction administration, Mr. Hicks works hard to ensure that the community-inspired design our staff produced on paper is achieved in the final construction.


STEVEN L. KECKEIS
Mr. Keckeis began his career with Frank Messer & Sons Construction Co. in 1982 as a Field Engineer. He has experience on a variety of project types with extensive experience in education facilities. He has completed several educational projects, from middle school to university level, and is currently serving as Operations Vice President on three educational facilities.




BERNIE SUER
Mr. Suer began his career at Frank Messer & Sons Construction Co. in 1974 as a co-op student. His experience and responsibilities have grown over the years as he has provided direction on numerous lump sum, design/build, and construction management projects including educational facilities, power plants, industrial facilities, hospitals/facilities, parking garages and commercial facilities. As Senior Vice President of Development, Mr. Suer is the head of Messer's Business Development Department which includes Marketing, Preconstruction Services, and Corporate Communications; Professional Development, which includes recruiting and development of Messer's staff; and Technical Development, which includes Messer's in-house Estimating, Engineering, and Scheduling Departments.


RICHARD S. THOMAS, AIA
Mr. Thomas brings a broad background of experience gained while working for major architectural firms throughout the country designing projects across the spectrum and the globe. His experience in planning and design for educational facilities ranges from public to private schools, early childhood centers to higher education facilities. Mr. Thomas also monitors the firm's project schedules, to assure our quality community-inspired projects are delivered to our customers on time.


MIKE DINGELDEIN, AIA
Mr. Dingeldein, AIA, is an expert in educational facility planning and design. He has over 20 years of architecture experience that includes a wide variety of educational work. His experience has ranged from small renovations to major new buildings to organization and management of large-scale programs involving multiple buildings and multiple phases of work. Mike recently spoke to several professional education groups on facility design and construction issues. He has also led the firm in the application of sophisticated modeling, animation and visualization technologies for architecture.


TOM FERNANDEZ , AIA
Mr. Fernandez’s 25 years of architecture experience includes educational, healthcare, fitness, commercial and religious facilities. His involvement in the AIA National Board of Directors and the AIA Committee on Education position him as a leader in the field and provide a unique perspective to aid his work. He also spoke on the topic of improving school safety and security through design to hundreds of architects at the national AIA conference.


TODD BUTLER
Todd Butler has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the architectural/interior design industries. His expertise has gained him the Cincinnati AIA President’s Award for exemplary service as well as many prestigious sales awards. His diverse background has given him a broad knowledge of the construction and architecture industry. As director and general manager of 2encompass, Todd is responsible for all day to day operations of the company in addition to gaining new projects. Since his appointment, Todd has implemented customer-focused offerings such as client visioning services.
